Terms of Service for RadAIChat

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RadAIChat ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must not use RadAIChat.

2. User Accounts

  • Account Creation: To access certain features, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information up-to-date.
  • Account Security: Your account access is secured via third-party authentication providers (OAuth, e.g., "Sign in with Google") or by one-time passwords sent to your email address. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your email account and any third-party accounts used to sign in. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Termination: You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

3. Using RadAIChat

  • Informational Use Only: RadAIChat is intended to streamline your workflow, summarize findings, and assist with documentation. It does not replace medical judgment, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. You must verify all outputs before relying on them in clinical workflows.
  • Protected Health Information (PHI): You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any case information, images, or attachments with the service. RadAIChat processes DICOM studies locally in your browser and prevents uploads of full studies by default. Only the specific image(s) you confirm for sharing are transmitted to our servers, and PHI is automatically removed as part of that transfer. Our PHI Guard feature, enabled by default, blocks obvious PHI in text prompts; if you disable this control in settings, you accept full responsibility for any PHI you submit.
  • Usage Monitoring: To maintain service quality and safety, authorized team members may review chat transcripts. We use automated systems—and, in limited cases, human reviewers—to detect abuse, security threats, or misuse. Depending on your selected model providers, conversation data may be routed to those partners for processing in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • Data Storage & Retention: Conversation data and uploaded images are stored in our secure cloud environment. You can configure automatic deletion windows for RadAIChat content; once enabled, we will remove data at the end of the retention period you select.
  • No Emergency Use: RadAIChat must not be used for urgent or emergency medical situations. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
  • Subscriptions, Plan Changes, and Billing Updates: Paid RadAIChat plans may renew automatically on a monthly or annual billing cycle until cancelled. You authorize us and our billing providers to charge the payment method on file for recurring fees, taxes, and any permitted plan changes. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not provide a refund for any charges already paid.
  • Subscription Update Policy: When you request a plan or billing update, we may apply the change immediately or schedule it for your next renewal date. Upgrades or other changes that increase your subscription price may require an additional checkout or payment confirmation before the change takes effect. All billing-cycle changes charge the new price and take effect immediately; billing-cycle changes are not scheduled for a future renewal date. Downgrades may be scheduled to take effect at the end of your current paid period, so you keep your existing plan features until that date. We do not provide cash refunds for unused time when you change plans, change billing cycles, or cancel. If a custom plan offer expressly states that remaining value or usage will convert into account credits, those credits are promotional/service credits only, are non-refundable and non-transferable, and have no cash value. Future renewals will be charged at the then-current price, currency, limits, and billing cycle shown when the update is confirmed.
  • Custom Plan Offers: We may offer custom RadAIChat plans with tailored limits, pricing, billing cycles, or other commercial terms. Accepting a custom plan offer may replace your existing subscription immediately or on your next renewal date, depending on the offer presented to you. A custom plan change may require a separate checkout, a one-time fee for the current billing period, cancellation and replacement of your current subscription, or a reset of your billing date when the custom plan starts.
  • Pending Changes: If a plan update is scheduled for a future renewal date, your account may show a pending change. We may allow you to cancel that pending change before it takes effect. If your subscription is cancelled, expires, becomes unpaid, or is otherwise no longer active before the scheduled effective date, we may skip or cancel the pending change.

4. General Use License & Prohibited Conduct

  • Use License: Permission is granted for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing of our materials. This is a grant of a license, not a transfer of title. Under this license, you may not modify, copy, or use the materials for any commercial purpose, remove any copyright notations, or "mirror" the materials on another server.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use RadAIChat to:
    • Engage in any illegal activity.
    • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or collect data from our platform in an unauthorized manner.
    • Introduce viruses, trojans, or other malicious software.
    • Impersonate any person or entity.

5. General Legal Provisions

  • Privacy Policy: Your use of RadAIChat is also governed by its Privacy Policy.
  • Limitation of Liability: In no event shall RadAIChat or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the materials on the website, even if RadAIChat or an authorized representative has been informed of the possibility of such damage.
  • Disclaimer of Warranties: RadAIChat and its materials are provided "as is." RadAIChat does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current.
  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
  • Modifications to Terms: We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes, for example, by posting the new version on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of RadAIChat after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
