At RadAIChat, we prioritize the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information we collect and how it is used.

Account Information We Collect

When you register for an account, we collect the following Personal Information to create and manage it:

  • Your name
  • Your email address

2. RadAIChat Data

RadAIChat is a conversational AI assistant for radiology workflows.

Information We Collect for RadAIChat

  • Conversation Data: Prompts, responses, and any attachments you choose to upload (e.g., images, reports) to provide context for your case discussions.
  • User Feedback: Optional ratings or comments that you submit to help us improve responses.
  • Usage Data: Technical logs, metadata, and diagnostics—similar to the data described in Section 3—to help us ensure performance, conduct auditing, and support billing where applicable.

How We Use Your RadAIChat Data

  • Service Delivery: We process conversation content to generate responses, create draft reports, route data to the AI providers you select, and provide workflow suggestions. Depending on your settings, conversation snippets may be shared with multiple AI model providers. You can review the current model and provider options at radaichat.com/models.
  • Quality Assurance: Authorized team members may review conversation snippets to improve models, investigate abuse, or resolve support issues. We apply administrative and technical safeguards to limit access to trained personnel.
  • Local Processing & Upload Controls: RadAIChat processes DICOM studies locally in your browser session. Only the image(s) you explicitly select for chat context are uploaded, and identifying metadata is stripped before transmission.
  • Retention & User Controls: Conversation history and uploaded images are stored within our secure cloud infrastructure so you can revisit prior chats. You can configure automatic deletion windows in settings and manually delete specific conversations at any time.
  • Sensitive Information & PHI Guard: RadAIChat includes a PHI Guard feature that is enabled by default to block obvious PHI in text prompts. If you disable PHI Guard, you accept full responsibility for any PHI you choose to provide and must ensure you have the legal right to share it.
  • Zero Data Retention (ZDR): When a selected model supports provider-side zero data retention, we request that the provider not store request data. Support depends on each provider and model, so not every model supports ZDR. If you enable Enforce ZDR in settings, new chats are limited to models for which we can request ZDR. See the models page for current support. ZDR applies only to provider-side handling and does not replace RadAIChat's storage and user controls described in this policy.

The following policies apply to RadAIChat.

Usage Data

We may collect information on how RadAIChat is accessed and used. This may include your IP address, browser type, or version.

Payment Processing

To process RadAIChat transactions, we use Creem for new purchases and Lemon Squeezy for payments on legacy subscriptions. This information is collected only when you choose to make a purchase. You provide your payment information directly to the payment provider used for your transaction, and we do not have access to, or store, your full payment card details.

Cookies

We use cookies to operate and enhance RadAIChat. Cookies are small files stored on your device.

  • Essential Cookies: Some cookies are strictly necessary for our platform to function. This includes cookies required for user authentication, which allow you to log in to your account. Features that require a login will not function correctly if these cookies are disabled in your browser.
  • Performance & Analytics Cookies: We also use cookies to help us analyze usage trends and improve user experience.

You can instruct your browser to refuse some or all cookies. However, please be aware that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from being able to log in and use account-specific features of RadAIChat.

Third-Party Services

We may employ third-party services (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, AI models). These third parties may have access to your information but are obligated not to use it for any other purpose.

Security

Your security is important to us. We implement reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new version on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
